Resepi Ayam Goreng ala India Selatan / South Indian Style Fried Chicken (using the PHILIPS Air Fryer)

Resepi Ayam Goreng ala India Selatan / South Indian Style Fried Chicken (using the PHILIPS Air Fryer)

Bahan-bahan (Ingredients)
2 fillet ayam sederhana besar yang telah dibuang kulit ( medium chicken chop fillets - skin removed)
2 ulas bawang putih, dikisar (pips garlic, ground)
2 ulas bawang merah, dikisar (medium shallots, ground)
1 cm halia muda, dikisar (young ginger, ground)
1 sudu besar minyak sayuran (Tbsp of vegetable oil)
1/2 tomato kecil yang telah ranum, dicincang halus (small ripe potato, finely chopped)
1 sudu besar serbuk cili (Tbsp level, chili powder)
1/2 sudu kecil serbuk ketumbar (tsp coriander powder)
1/2 sudu kecil garam masala (tsp garam masala)
1/2 sudu kecil serbuk jintan putih (tsp cumin powder)
1/2 sudu kecil serbuk fennel (tsp fennel powder)
1/2 tsp garam (tsp salt)
1 sudu kecil lada hitam, dikisar (tsp black pepper, ground)
1 sudu kecil gula (tsb sugar)
3 batang daun ketumbar, dicincang halus (springs coriander leaves, finely chopped)


Cara-cara (Method)
  1. Bersihkan fillet ayam, cuci dan biarkan kering. Gunakan tisu dapur untuk keringkan lebihan air pada fillet ayam. Biarkan seketika. (Clean chicken fillets, wash and drain well. Pat dry with kitchen paper towel. Keep aside)
  2. Kisar bawang putih, bawang merah dan halia menggunakan pengisar makanan. (In a blender, grind garlic, shallots and young ginger)
  3. Panaskan kuali dan masukkan minyak sayuran. Masukkan bahan kisar ke dalam kuali setelah kuali tadi panas, goreng sehingga naik bau. Masukkan tomato dan biarkan ia masak sehingga kelayu-layuan. (Heat a non-stick pan and add vegetable oil. When hot, add the blended ingredients fry till aromatic. Add the tomatoes and cook til pulpy)
  4. Masukkan serbuk cili, serbuk ketumbar, garam masala, serbuk jintan putih dan serbuk fennel. Bahan-bahan tersebut digoreng tanpa air dengan api kecil. (Add chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder and fennel powder. Fry without water on slow fire)
  5. Tambahkan garam, lada hitam dan gula ke dalam masala tadi. Akhir sekali, masukkan daun ketumbar yang telah dicincang dan tutup api dapur. (Add salt, black pepper dan gula to the masala above. Add chopped coriander lastly. Switch off the stove)
  6. Perapkan ayam dengan masala tadi selama 10 minit. Marinade each piece of chicken with the above masala well. Allow to stand for 10 minutes)
  7. Sementara itu, letakkan aluminium foil pada bakul PHILIPS Air Fryer. Panaskan Air Fryer sehingga 200 darjah celcius terlebih dahulu. Kemudian, masukkan perapan ayam ke dalam bakul Air Fryer, masak sehingga 10 minit. (In the meantime, line the PHILIPS Air Fryer basket with aluminium foil. Preheat the Air Fryer to 200 degree celcius. Place the mrinated chicken in the Air Fryer basket. Slide the basket into AIr Fryer. Cook for 10 minutes)
  8. Selepas 10 minit, perlahankan suhu kepada 180 darjah celcius dan masak lagi selama 10 minit. (After 10 minutes reduce the temperature to 180 degree celcius and cook for another 10 minutes)
  9. Hidangkan ayam yang telah siap dipotong dengan hirisan limau nipis bersama raita sayuran dan capati (When done, serve sliced chicken garnish with lime slices, acompanied with vegetable raita and chappati.
